This year we had the pleasure of welcoming incredible new talent to the reimagined habitat family — adding depth, expertise, and fresh energy to our studios. Every new team member has strengthened our ability to deliver thoughtful, healthy, high-performance homes, and we’re so grateful they chose us as their professional home.

🏡 The Launch of Our Net Zero Habitat Range

One of the proudest achievements of 2025 was unveiling our net zero habitat home range — a collection of pre-designed, high-performance homes that prioritise liveability, health and affordability.

Each design follows our signature principles:

• exceptional airtightness and insulation
• intelligent passive solar design
• triple glazing through Net Zero Plus
• panelised prefabricated construction for unmatched performance
• flexible layouts suited to real Australian families

These homes are compact, efficient, climate-resilient and beautifully functional — and we can’t wait to continue expanding the range in 2026.

This year we proudly showcased our work at both the Australian Passive House Conference and the PrefabAUS Conference. It was energising to see how Australia’s appetite for healthier, low-energy, high-performance homes continues to grow — and to be part of conversations pushing the industry forward.

🏆 Finalists in the BDAA Awards

We were thrilled to be named finalists in the BDAA Awards — a recognition of the heart, rigour and dedication that goes into every project across our studios.

💬 Growing Our Community: The Reimagined Sustainable Living Tribe

We relaunched our Sustainable Living Tribe this year — and what a warm return it has been.

Live sessions, expert conversations, shared learning, and genuine community made this space come alive again. We’re looking forward to many more discussions, masterclasses and Q&As next year.

While much of our work this year has been visible, a lot has also been happening quietly in the background.

Michael has been deeply involved in several major initiatives — from policy collaborations, to large-scale climate-resilient housing concepts, to new product development within net zero plus, and community partnership projects we cannot wait to reveal.
